Any nation needs it’s heritage since it’s bringing the conclusion of the fathers life and expresses their feelings and day to day life and their experience. They worked hard to protect this heritage and bring to us all their customs and traditions and their physical and mental experience. The heritage simply bring back the past and for the identification of the present and show the success track for future generations
The nation’s culture is among the criteria to see how developed is that nation and if we see a nation developed and advanced this reflects its heritage and how rich is it. It’s also important for these nations to develop and protect its heritage in order to let others know about it and to keep it alive

AL Yullah Championship
Al yullah art is among the most transferred heritage, every generation has developed it since the past till we have it in the current time where AL yullah art is simplified by playing with the rifle during shows and local celebration in UAE and the Gulf countries. From its importance the Faza’a Yullah Championship was launched and many other championships followed in school in order to teach the students how to follow their father’s path and to keep their identity
Falconry Championship
The other championship sponsored by His Highness sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the falconry or hunting by falcons. This is the second of Faza’a heritage championship that gains in the last years fame and a lot of people are participating in them thus making the organizer to increase the prizes awarded to the winners so this championship has become among the most rewarded heritage sport
Shooting Championship
Under the patronage of his highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum UAE witness for the first time first plat’es shooting (Dubai Bests 2005). Meanwhile a new Faza’a championship in shooting was launched for boys and girls below the age of 14 and for the ladies. The organizer confirmed the usage of the Al Sktoun (Kind of local rifle) to be used by all participants during the championship
Diving Championship
It’s considered among the first of its kind in the region, it was based on the old diving voyages done in search for the Pearl and it depends on deep breath and time the divers can spend under the water. It also measures the skills of the divers and period and smoothness and quickness of their movement s under the water
Hunting by Dogs
It’s also among the heritage sport supported and sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid. It’s a talent known and loved by old Arabs. It begins on the 25th of Jan in each year and last till the 27th of the same month. People from different nationality participating and no limit on the number of dogs participating and more than one type of dog is allowed to participate
